A guitar night every spring
Every student chooses whether to play. Families, grandparents and friends are always welcome to listen.
Open house
Late August · Meet the teachers, see the rooms and hold a guitar.
Fall session begins
Early September · Weekly lessons start for returning and new students.
Family open stage
October · An evening in the hall for anyone who wants to play one piece.
Winter break
Late December · The school is closed for two weeks, then lessons start again.
Spring session begins
Early January · A new session, and a good month to start lessons.
Spring guitar night
April · Students play classical, flamenco and Latin pieces, alone and in groups, for their families.

The evening
What a guitar night is like
A short evening in the hall, with chairs set out and the lights low.
Every student chooses
Some play alone, some play with a teacher and some come only to listen. Everyone claps for everyone.
Families sit together
Grandparents, cousins and friends are welcome. Arrive early, silence phones and clap at the end of each piece.
Spanish and English
We welcome the audience in both languages, and the teachers introduce each piece in the language its player prefers.
